Spring has sprung a surprise!

Thursday, April 5th, 2007

Well, Blue Harbor House looks pretty as a picture, but definitely not your typical spring day!

Camden is not well known for it’s ski slopes,( but on a day like today skiing comes to mind!)however the Snow Bowl is quite unlike anything else in the East.
From the summit of 1300′ Ragged Mountain, home to the Snow Bowl’s trails, skiers and riders have an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. The Camden Snow Bowl really is “where the mountains meet the sea”.

Although now closed for the season, the Camden Snow Bowl is the place to look for good, affordable skiing for all levels. Look forward to next season……

Diving in Maine?

Monday, April 2nd, 2007

Well, actually snorkeling this time! (and testing the dry suits for the first time this season). Terry and Jade are snorkeling at Beauchamp point which is lovely area of Rockport. You can walk from Camden to here – a most beautiful walk. It is also a popular local dive spot.
