Camden’s Duck Derby May 26th
Camden’s own Duck Derby to take place Sat 26May, for the first time in 19 years! 2500 bright yellow numbered ducks will race down Megunticook river with a dash over the falls into Camden harbor! Fundraiser, with prizes. It’s going to be just ducky! Starts 10.30am, Mechanic street.
Camden Winterfest, Saturday Jan 28th
This coming Saturday will mark the 10-year anniversary of the Camden Winterfest. Ice carvings will be created all day long in the Camden Amphitheater by local amateurs and artists. Winterfest opens Jan. 28 at noon with music and crafts inside and skating and live music outside. It’s a fun day for all!

Camden harbor kayak tour
One of our most popular tours this summer is the two hour Camden Harbor kayak tour. At just $35.00 pp this two hour guided tour is great value, and has had rave reviews from our guests. You’ll head out past cruising yachts and tall masted schooners, taking in the majestic coastline from a unique perspective. Still time to book up. The kayak tour sets off from Camden harbor, just a short walk from the Inn. We book the whole thing – you just show up and have fun!
Camden, Maine rated in top 10 ‘Charming small towns in America’ by Trip Advisor
Camden was today listed at no 8 in the top 10 of ’Charming small towns in America by Trip Advisor’. Carmel, CA was number 1, with Charlottesville Va, Telluride CO, and Rockport, MA also listed in the top 10. We are just tickled pink!
Camden has also recently been declared the best Main Street in New England by Boston Magazine, the prettiest harbor in Maine by the readers of Down East, one of New England’s top 25 foliage towns by Yankee magazine.
