Partnering with Dandelion Spring Organic farm, they are serving up a five course meal, – organic spring vegetables, heirloom pork and free-range eggs, from the farm, combined with spring lamb and grass-fed dairy from neighboring Straw Farm. Beekeeping at Merryspring Gardens

Interested in beekeeping? Knox Lincoln County beekeepers will be at Merryspring Gardens this Saturday with an observation hive,- so you can see first hand how honeybees live and work. Also there will be beekeeping equipment you can try on, and information on beekeeping classes.

Camden Farmer’s Market each Saturday
Camden’s Farmers Market every Sat morning is the place to be! Today I was there getting, among other things some Hahn’s End cheese for our cheeseboards. A local Maine artisan cheese maker, his Blue Velvet cheese is just the best! Come and try a sample.
Afternoon Tea
Beautiful day in Camden, Maine today. I made some special lavender and rose glazed shortbread this morning. All those booked in for the Holiday weekend will be able to sample some for afternoon tea today! The culinary lavender comes from the fabulous Glendarragh lavender farm, in Appleton, Maine. Fancy a cuppa?
New Specialty Chocolate shop opens in downtown Camden
Just opened at 12 Bayview street, Camden, ‘Chocolatier Blue’ uses only fresh ingredients, organic ingredients whenever possible and the finest Italian chocolate. At the Chocolatier Blue Flagship store in Berkeley, Calif., the top sellers are passion fruit caramel, hazelnut and espresso. Sounds divine -can’t wait to try some!
